SABCA appoints new Chairman of The Board

Thibauld Jongen was appointed as the new chairman of the Board of Directors of the SABCA Group. During its meeting, the Board unanimously acknowledged the new Chairman, given his leadership, track record and experience as CEO of the SABCA Group.

Mr. Jongen succeeds Remo Pellichero who has served SABCA for many years and who unfortunately passed away at the end of last year. The new chairman, who currently also acts as the CEO of the SABCA Group, will chair the Board during the transition period at least until the next General Assembly.

In recent years, SABCA has successfully gone through a major transformation process, led by Thibauld Jongen, to make SABCA robust, profitable, and competitive. The Board of Directors is therefore confident that he has the right leadership, capabilities and expertise to assume the role of Chairman.

“I am very grateful and honoured with this token of trust and recognition for my achievements, and I will continue my mission to put SABCA at the forefront of the aerospace industry. Together with all SABCA employees, we are writing modern aerospace history in Europe by designing and manufacturing state of the art solutions for the aviation, defence, and space industry and - with our drone solutions-, also for the general industry,” says Jongen.
