Thrust Vector Control
A TVC system typically comprises electromechanical or hydraulic actuators, an integrated power and drive unit incorporating the necessary electronics, software, and cable harnesses, as well as the required energy source, either batteries or pressurized fluid. All major components are designed, manufactured, and integrated in-house by SABCA Technologies’ mechatronics and electronics teams.
Plug & Fly
SABCA Technologies also performs full system integration into the launcher structure, delivering a true “plug-and-fly” solution.
Aviation and Defense
SABCA Technologies’ actuation systems are also present in aviation and defense, notably on primary flight controls for F16 and Dassault Business Jets, and Brake Control of the A320. Additionally, SABCA Technologies develops with Airbus an electromechanical actuator for Spoilar 5 of the A350 to replace the hydraulic systems currently in place, reducing total weight by 40kg per system
Hydraulics, electronics and mecatronics
SABCA Technologies masters both hydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems, as well as electronics (PCB), cabling and even in-house processor and software capabilities
Re-entry vehicles
SABCA Technologies provides control systems for space re-entry vehicles such as IXV and Space Rider.
